GRAA Baseball & Softball Opening Day Parade!

All in town and travel Baseball and Softball players:

Join us next Saturday, April 27th  for the Annual GRAA Baseball & Softball Opening Day Festivities.  Players should arrive – in uniform - at 10:30am to meet their coaches at the corner of Sherman Ave and Baldwin St.  Step off is at 11am.  (If you are on both travel and in town teams, please wear your travel uniform and march with your travel coach).  Parents, please line Sherman Avenue to cheer our players on!

Following the parade, please join us for our opening ceremony at Sherman Avenue Field.  Jack the Jackal will be back this year and we’ll have hot dogs, drinks, and Rita’s for everyone!  Full details are available on the attached flyer and on the GRAA/Baseball homepage.

We need volunteers to make this a fun day for everyone so please email glenridgebaseball@yahoo.com to sign up for a one-hour shift between 8am and 1pm.  We will need help setting up, grilling and distributing hot dogs, drinks, & chips, as well as cleaning up.

It's going to be a great day!

GRAA Baseball Financial Policies

Pay To Play – Any child that is involved in GRAA Baseball activities (winter training, travel, in-town, clinics, etc), must pay the registration fee PRIOR to attending the activity.  Financial Aid is available as noted below.  Children will not be allowed to participate if payment has not been received or Financial Aid has not been requested and provided.

Financial Aid Available – GRAA recognizes the financial hardships many families are enduring.  Inability to pay should not hold any Glen Ridge child back from participating in a GRAA sport.  Please visit www.GRAA.org home page and click on the Financial Aid link on the bottom of the page for more information and an application.  Additionally, please feel free to contact Commissioner James Malik to discuss your situation confidentially.
