2011 Queen of the Ave Summer Lacrosse League

Current 7th/8th grade
DATES: Weeknights beginning June 7 – July 12
TIMES: 6PM, 7PM
LOCATION: Watseesing Turf Field, Bloomfield NJ
FORMAT:
Games played on Tues, Wed, or Thursday nights at 6pm and 7pm. Each team plays once a week. Teams will be formatted by schools. Each player will receive a league tank-top jersey. It must be worn to all games. All players will be notified by e-mail of the schedule. Each team will play a 5 game schedule, along with playoffs for the top 4 teams. One team will be crowned Queen of the Ave.
REGISTRATION:
All teams must fill out all registration forms. There will only be 6 Teams, so first 6 teams registered will form the summer league.

$100 per player by May 15th, $125 until June 1st.
REGISTRATION FORM
- Two 25-minute running time halves. Last minute in each half stopped time. Game time is Sharp! Game clock starts at game time as long as officials are on the field. Teams can start game with as little as 8 players but must have 10 by halftime or the game is over. teams behind by 5 or more goals will get the ball at midfield.
You can have three one-minute timeouts per game with no more than two a half.
There will be no fighting tolerated. Any player fighting will be automatically suspended for the next game. Second offenses will lead to expulsion from the league.
In addition, please clean you bench area after the games.
- In the event of all day rain we will try to play unless there is lightning. Rained out games will not be made up. If it is threatening to rain but has not done so ALL games are on. Referees will call games if the conditions warrant it so have your players show up. If the game can be played and you don’t have enough players it will count as a forfeit and not be made up.
- Please turn in Roster and Insurance forms by July 1. All players must have a minor waiver signed by his parents before playing.
- All players must have a US lacrosse member number.
- Playoffs will be top 4 in girls division The playoffs start July 12 and end with the girls finals on July 14th.
